"State Farm has great rates, especially compared to my old insurance. Naomi is the woman who helped me and she gave me a quote within seconds. She is so friendly and helpful! State Farm is very reliable and is there to help you 24/7 if you have an accident. The reason I'm giving this location only 3 stars isn't because of State Farm itself or Naomi. They are great! BUT... The actual agent that owns this location, Mr. Samuel Garcia, is not a pleasant person to talk to. I called the office recently to speak to Naomi, but it was Mr. Garcia who answered the phone. I asked him nicely if I could please speak to Naomi, but he said, "No, I'm the owner. I'll help you". I said "OK" and explained the issue that I was calling about. Throughout the entire conversation, he spoke to me very rudely and was extremely unprofessional, constantly trying to argue with me about everything I said. He contradicted me repeatedly about information that I had already been given by State Farm, telling me that it was all wrong. He spoke to me as if I had done something wrong and spoke very arrogantly, repeating multiple times that he was "the owner" and blah blah blah. The entire time we spoke, I was respectful and calm, and at one point I asked him if he was "having a bad day or something" (because how he was speaking to me was NOT the way a business person should speak to one of his customers). I also specifically asked him TWO more times (which makes a total of 3 times!) if I could please speak to Naomi about something that had nothing to do with what we had already discussed, and BOTH times he said "No, you can't.You can speak to me. I'm the owner". He absolutely REFUSED to let me speak to her, even though he had already told me that she was there in the office!! I have never been spoken to like this by ANYONE in a business situation in my life, especially by the "owner" of a business! And for absolutely NO reason! I had been friendly and kind to him the whole time, and he was nothing but arrogant, disrespectful, rude, extremely impatient, and unprofessional to me. I'm not trying to be disrespectful here. I'm only being honest about my experience when speaking with Mr. Garcia himself. I'd like to think that maybe he WAS having a bad day and didn't realize how he was speaking to me. We're all guilty of doing that sometimes without even realizing it. But as a business owner (which he reminded me that he was a hundred times while we were talking), you have to be observant of how you speak and act with your customers ALL THE TIME, no matter how you feel at any given moment. If not, you'll lose them and their respect for you. What is also disappointing is that it was the very first time that we had spoken to each other. He did not leave a good impression with me at all. I definitely recommend State Farm insurance but I suggest you choose a different agent other than this one! There are many State Farm agents in Abilene to choose from. I personally am changing agents."

"I was literally cursed out of the office by Samuel Garcia because I was upset that state farm refused to fix my truck after the 3rd try. They never did authorize to have my running board fixed because they said it was previous damage. This was about 5 years ago but my therapist said I need to let go so here it is. I have never and will never use state farm or have anything to do with Mr. Garcia ever again. Wow I feel so much better!!!"
